PLACES TO VISIT

Sand Bay-
The geology and scenery here has attracted people here for 200 years and they still come! Here are nationally important volcanic rocks, fine views up and down the Severn and over Woodspring Priory Sheltering in the lee of the headland.

There are walks around the Weston Woods (South of Sandbay), Sand Point and Middle Hope (National Trust land for Sand Bay). This beach is noted for its diverse bird population, its saltmarsh and sand dune communities. Sand Bay has passed the toughest European standards for bathing water quality.

Parking
There is free car parking for approximately 100 cars.

Public Transport
A daily bus service runs hourly in Winter, half-hourly in Summer.

Others places to visit include, Sand Point, Kewstoke Toll Road, Monks Steps and St Pauls Church.
